EYE EXAMS
We provide comprehensive ocular health and vision assessments for adults, seniors and children. We also offer the Eye See… Eye Learn Program for children to detect early signs of vision problems.
Dr. Wheildon believes that a business in a small town has an incumbent duty to give back in many ways. Our doctors and staff all live in North Perth, exhibiting a willingness to be part of the community. A business that is engaged with the community, and staff who live within it demonstrate a desire to be a part of it. We view our patients as friends and neighbours, and that willingness is reflected in the conscientious and courteous service we provide.
We practice the treatment and management of ocular disease, utilizing up-to-date technology. Our newest equipment includes our OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography), which allows our doctors to see layers of the back of the eye that cannot be detected by the “naked eye”. Our helpful and knowledgeable staff has over 100 years of professional experience and are happy to answer any questions you have about your eye care.
With frame and lens options changing every day, there are many options to choose from that will fit your daily life. We carry over 1000 different frame selections to fit your style, face shape and purpose, and offer customized fittings and exams for contact lens wearers.
My eye doctor was so friendly, thorough, and professional. I especially appreciated the staff taking me anyway, when my appointment was not for that particular day. It meant so very much to me and was my mistake, not theirs. The lady who helped to choose a stylish pair of glasses for me took the time and effort to explain all the necessary steps when purchasing a pair of glasses suitable for my prescription. She too was efficient, friendly, and so very helpful.

Dr. Wheildon has been a great help and has gone above and beyond for me. Last October, I found out I had a cataract at the age of 33 (not common). Surgery was done and finding the right prescription has been a bit of a challenge. My vision has been a bit challenging since my surgery with the specialist and she has been there for me through it all. Making sure every time everything's been working properly and helping me find the right prescription. I'm sure I've been a challenging patient. Thank you for all of your help!

I had suffered a traumatic eye event and was treated by Dr. Wheildon. She examined me as soon as I arrived at her office and then checked in on me when I was waiting at the hospital. She arranged in partnership with the emergency doctor an appointment with the ophthalmologist the next day. I was treated with professionalism and kindness by Dr. Wheildon. Highly recommend!
